THE MS-UIED-S&R Course provides students with an understanding of the following:
- Underwater inspection of vessels, terminals, and other facilities.
- Responding to crises involving threats of terrorism or actual attacks.
- Monitoring and controlling water-born access to facilities & vessels.
- Conducting underwater surveillance operations.
- Recognizing & Detecting the presence of bombs, explosives, and WMD’s.
- Interacting on security matters and measures with the CSO, VSO & FSO -Interacting with relevant; city, state and federal agencies
